It's been a while since I've been here. Was lovely reading and getting up to date with other blogs.

The last thing I made last year was this Lavender filled felt heart for a friend.
(approx 7in wide).
Over the past weeks I have been busy making lots of lavender sachets...
Valentine hearts...
and turning more scrap fabric into more lavender sachets,
also making lots of sales, which has been pretty amazing.
Here is my first Lavender Sleepy Doll. I'd thought about making this for a long time and finally got around to making a pattern. Very pleased with the result and will definitely make more of these, maybe a little fatter and maybe add pajamas or a nightdress.
Finally, I will be selling my lavender sachets and hearts at my new local garden centre, very soon.
It's called the Battersea Flower Station and it's a truly amazing place to wander around. You feel like you're in a secret garden. It's an open space filled with many beautiful plants, tools and gardening goods.

It even has a cute gift shop, filled with gorgeous gift ideas of all sorts. The owners are extremely friendly, so if you're ever in the area do pop in and have peek. You won't be disappointed.
For me 2013 has started on a good note.
