An Afternoon in Brighton

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon in Brighton with my mum and daughter.

It's been years since I've been there. 

The weather wasn't the best, mostly wet and windy, but that didn't spoil our day. 

It was lovely to walk around North Laine, popping into sweet heaven, 

getting lost in an amazing Flea market and visiting loads of wonderful little shops.

We took a stroll along the Pier into the arcade and later a little walk on the pebbles and stones.

I wanted to buy a stick of rock, but was too shocked at the prices! Seriously overpriced!!!

Before heading home we stopped for dinner. Sadly it was a bit of a disappointment. 

'Tough' Steak for me and 'Hunt for the fish' and chips for mum and daughter. 

Aside from that it was a very lovely afternoon and definitely something I'd like to do more often!
