A Week at Cottage Farm

23 August 2012

Cottage Farm was our beautiful home for a week in Church Preen, Shropshire. My daughter, eight other family members and I had such an amazing time. The weather was warm, sunny and dry for most of the time and the occasional rain did not dampen our moods in the slightest.
There was more than enough space for us to run around without getting on top of each other. The garden was so enormous we actually had games of football and badminton going on at the same time. We made friends with a lovely horse called Chester. One night we stayed up stargazing and was fortunate enough to witness part of a meteor shower. Amazing!!!
We enjoyed visits into Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock, Church Stretton and Ludlow, popping into gorgeous tea rooms, charity shops, antique shops, sweet shops and just having a wonderful time.
We went on a guided tour of Wenlock Casle in the pouring rain and had a few goes at archery.
We were all soaking wet, but it was so much fun.
We'll definitely be planning another UK cottage holiday for next year.
Any Recommendation?

Enjoy the rest of the week and have a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend!
